Ingredients

1/4 pound sliced bacon

3 small frozen bags of whole beans

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon of sugar

1/2 teaspoon black pepper 

¼ cup Diced yellow onion

1/2 cup water

Directions

In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, cook the bacon for 10-12 minutes until lightly brown but not crisp.Then.When the bacon has browned, add the green beans and water. Add salt, sugar and pepper and mix well.

Now place onions on top of the green beans.Then cover with lid.

Now bring to a light boil. Next, turn down the heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
