How to Make Strawberry Shooters is a recipe that shows how to make a quick treat. A quick treat in a shot glass is nothing new. They are all the rage all over the country and has been for some time. They are small, sweet treat in which you can indulge but not feel guilty about overeating. Also, you can add your own spin to this by adding something extra of your choice.


Serves 4

Ingredients

1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese

2 eggs

1/3 cup sugar

2 tbsps. sour cream

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup graham crackers crumbs

2 tbsps. melted butter

1/2 cup thawed frozen strawberries in syrup

Whipped cream for garnish

Cheesecake filling

In a large bowl, using a mixer on high, blend the cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla til smooth.

Pour mixture into large saucepan and cook over medium high heat, stirring often, for 8-10 minutes or until it begins to thicken. Now pour into covered container and chill for several hours.

To prepare each serving, combine butter and graham cracker crumbs. Then, spoon in 2 tablespoons in graham cracker crumbs into a 6 oz glass and top with cheesecake filling.

Lastly, spoon 2 tablespoons of strawberries and syrup on top of the cheesecake filling and top off with whipped cream.
